Operated Contracts An Operated Contract is charged at an hourly rate, with additional rates for Time/Half, Double Time and Standing Time. Operated contracts are suitable when the charging is determined by the hours worked on a day by day basis. |
Secondary Equipment An hourly charge may also be entered for a secondary piece of equipment that may be only partially used. Non-operated (self drive) items, and items charged on a ‘per unit used’ basis may also be added to the contract. |
Invoicing Invoices for operated contracts are created automatically from timesheets submitted by the operators. The timesheet can be reprinted onto each invoice if desired. Printing the timesheet on the invoice can help reduce invoice queries. |
Timesheet Control When creating the invoices the system will automatically check for, and report on, any timesheets that are missing for the operated contracts that are due to be invoiced, so you can be sure that all time worked is being invoiced. |
Partial Self Drive You can also enter a self drive daily rate alongside the hourly rate on an operated contract, and indicate which days are self drive during timesheet entry. |
Operator Shifts If there is more than one shift being worked, then this can be indicated on the contract, along with the number of hours in each shift. This speeds up timesheet entry, as the appropriate hours worked are automatically added by the system, and the system will check that timesheets have been entered for all the shifts worked. |
Operator Qualifications & Renewals With operated hires, it is common for the operators to be trained and to require certain qualifications or certificates. You can record the qualifications held by each machine operator, plus details of when these qualifications need to be renewed. You can also identify what training and exams need to be booked, and keep a full history for each operator. |
Qualifications by Equipment The qualifications required to operate the different equipment can also be recorded, and the system will automatically alert you when an operator assigned to a particular job does not have the requisite qualifications. |
