Lifterz are also able to service and maintain their customers own access equipment. Once a maintenance agreement has been agreed it ensures their machines always comply with legal requirements. Lifterz’ service department has experience on most customer owned platforms. They also provide training in Powered Access, Mobile Scaffold Towers (PASMA), and Ladders and Working Height: Regulations and Harnesses.

Malcolm Bowers recognised the need for a computerised hire system from day one. He wanted to choose a system that was easy to use, feature rich, reliable and could also accommodate his future planned growth and expansion of Lifterz. He had been unhappy with systems he had previously used, so it was imperative that he chose the best system for Lifterz. Malcolm chose the Syrinx® Hire Management System from Caversham based Higher Concept Software. Malcolm and his colleagues picked up how easy Syrinx® was to use from their initial demonstration. They were impressed with the comprehensive features including the workshop/servicing, damage charging with digital photographs and staff development, which includes the ability to record qualifications held by each machine operator. The system can highlight when these qualifications need renewal, and the qualifications required for each type of equipment can also be recorded.

Malcolm says the implementation of Syrinx® was smooth and seamless, and Lifertz were able to go live with Syrinx® immediately after installation and training. Malcolm has not, with Syrinx®, experienced any of his previous bad experiences. Malcolm also has Syrinx® installed at his home and finds the speed of data transfer excellent.
